Do I need a kiln to use Sculpd clay?
No, our signature clay is air-dry. It will naturally harden over 24-48 hours without the need for a professional kiln or oven firing.
Is the finished pottery waterproof?
Once your piece is dry and painted, you must apply our waterproof varnish to ensure it can hold water or stay protected in damp environments.
What comes in a standard starter kit?
Each kit includes 2kg of premium air-dry clay, a 5-piece wooden tool set, white acrylic paint, waterproof varnish, and two synthetic brushes.
Can I use Sculpd pottery for food and drink?
Our air-dry clay is intended for decorative use only. It is not food-safe, microwave-safe, or dishwasher-safe.
How should I store unused clay?
To keep clay fresh, wrap it tightly in cling film and store it in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
Is the clay safe for children?
Yes, our clay is non-toxic and CE certified, making it a perfect creative activity for ages 3 and up with adult supervision.
